Hey Now, You're An All Star

I am excited to report that Cameron has been picked to play for the Montgomery American Orange All Star softball team!!! If you are one of my northern state readers, it probably doesn't sound like much. If you are a southern state reader, you know it's a pretty big deal. So my next blog entries will most likely be about this great experience for Cameron.

The first thing we learned about the difference between regular season and All Stars is that the practices are much harder, much more frequent and much longer. We went from one or two practices a week for and hour to 4 straight nights for two and a half hours running late into the night. She is learning a lot though and enjoying it.

Tonight we played a practice game with one of the other teams in the Montgomery area and beat them!! Cameron hit a nice double.
