Last week I was driving Cameron home from gymnastics and for some very strange reason something made me think of a time when my brother and I were going into 7-11 and a lady (Mrs. R) was coming out and we had said hi to her and she was very cheerful and talked to us a minute. Mrs. R was someone we got to know very well through the Jr. football league my family was a big part of. This incident happened about 17 or 18 years ago. I don't think I have thought about Mrs. R since then.
I was talking to my mom today and she told me Mrs. R had died last Sunday while on a cruise with her husband. She had a massive heart attack. I have no idea what made me think of her after all this time and just days before she died. Kinda creepy, eh?
